EMSA-07
The three peak Emergency professional bodies are combining to bring you a weekend of outstanding emergency education, networking, and some new opportunities to be announced. Emergency Medicine, Nursing and Ambulance staff, undergraduate students and other disciplines are all invited to attend. Poster submissions welcomed.

POSITION PAPERS for EB and Career Structure Review
CENA-SA recently submitted 2 documents to the Department of Health and ANF regarding the current discussions on the South Australian Career Structure Review and Enterprise Bargaining process. These were then followed by a third paper that outlined CENA-SA’s position on ED Nurse Staffing. These Position Statements are available in the ‘Members Only’ section for review by members.

The Career Restructuring talks and Enterprise Bargaining discussions are still ongoing between nursing, the Department of Health and the ANF. CENA-SA is keeping a close watch on the outcomes of these discussions and will notify members of these outcomes as information becomes available.

To strongly reiterate – the College is here to represent YOU and the interests of emergency nurses in Australia, at both a State and National level. Dialogue between nurses at all levels within the specialty is essential and I urge all members to talk about these issues with within your workplaces and feed back to us here at the College, to your unit manager and hospital management and to the ANF.
